|

Hi,
Firstly thank your this site - it is always good to wander back here and see what has been added.
the following are the NZ affiliate programs that I have used for at least 2 years and I have found to be good:
fishpond
sliverfernz
products from NZ
Bone Art Place
maorimusic.com
productsfromNZ
NZ Fine Prints
nakedbus (which is not in the list! http://www.nakedbus.com/)
when I have had queries and asked, I have always received an email back. I have never had my queries ignored. I also like the "personal" touch that those places provide.
------------------------------------------------
Shop New Zealand changed their affiliate program, but did not bother to advise, so probably resulted in lost commissions.
-----------------------------------------------
don't know what happened to fishhead-gifts - they have changed their site without advising and therefore can not log in now - probably will not get the commission owed either.

Great to hear your feedback and thanks for sharing.
It's getting feedback like this out there in the NZ affiliate space that's going to help affiliates work with affiliate programs and let them know what they need to do to get the best performance out of their traffic.
Also, maybe we can get a few affiliate programs to take some constructive criticism
It's disappointing to hear that Shop New Zealand didn't let you know about the changes. They seem to be reasonably prominent in the NZ affiliate space.
Did their tracking codes completely stop working on the update? _________________ NZ Affiliate Programs

Who knows? *LOL* - they also had a referral tier kind of program and when I asked them about that - if it would still be in use etc, they said they would get back to me - and still have not heard anything.
Here is another interesting thing about shop nz affiliate - on their affiliate program page they say they are with AffiliateBOT.com
But if you click on their img on the left hand side that says Join our affiliate program it takes you to clicks galore!
Here is some more feedback about those good programs that may be of use to people starting out.
The following sites have code generators, so if you are not too familiar with code, it will generate it for you, including the link and an image. You just have to copy and paste the code.
fishpond
sliverfernz
maorimusic.com
the following sites have a bit of code that they provide you with and you put it at the end of the url. You have to create the link text yourself through html code.
products from NZ
Bone Art Place
NZ Fine Prints
If you want a more "customised" solution and you know what you are doing, you just contact them and ask - this is what I have done and they have always been more than accommodating!
For example, one site I wanted to customise the code in a way which was against their terms, but I contacted them and explained what I wanted to do and why - they gave permission and even gave me the images I needed! This year I contacted them again asking if I could do the same thing with another site and got a lovely email again giving permission and saying that they are happy with what I do!
Another site, after I have been with them a few months showed lots of page hits but no sales. I contacted them expressing concern about this, they checked their code and found it was not working properly (this was when they first started their program) So not only did they fix that, but they also paid me some commission as well without me asking! I did not really expect that, but it shows how great most nz affiliate programs are and keen to work with, and keep affiliates
I always make the point of asking an affiliate that does not use clix galore and the like if I can change layout etc - I like working with the sites and from all experiences I have had with them, they like working with sites to |
